Garden Visit

 Brian Denison

What an enjoyable afternoon!
Paxton member Brian Denison’s garden is delightful with its attractive planting and quirky artefacts at every turn.  The garden is in pristine condition with lots of interest, even in mid-August after a drought.  Looking around gave us a lot of pleasure and many ideas to try in our own gardens.

Lovely colours in the borders.  Some plants are in pots

 superb bark

We finished off the afternoon with tea and cake at Judith’s, giving us a chance to see the numerous plants in situ in which have previously only been seen on the Display Table at Paxton.

Gardening Matters
I don’t think we need to be told that gardening is good for the soul!
