“This verbascum self seeded into the patio, whilst I would usually have removed it, I left it to do its thing. Any free gift is a great joy at the moment- and the bees love it!”

Virtual Friday Forum 7

Friday Forum members are definitely improving on Zoom and this week we managed twelve guests who contributed to the virtual Display Table.
Here are some of them:
Judith

Phlomis  Cashmeriana (pink whorls)
Senecio Vira vira (cream flowers on grey foliage) which comes from a region of Chile.
Geranium palmatum - another self-seeding geranium

Carol’s Plant Sales have been really successful, raising £370 for the NGS.  She thanks those who supplied and bought plants.  There are still a few tender plants left.  Norma is holding a small plant sale on 4th July in aid of the Alzheimer's Society.

Members report that Newby Hall and RHS are both open to book online, have toilets and take away drinks and feel safe for visitors.

There are no plans to resume Friday Forum meetings until it is felt it is safe to do so but hope you all stay well and join in on Zoom.
