Six on Saturday

I’m not proud at all of my garden at the moment using excuses like lack of rain and holidays.  However, I visited the garden of a fellow member or our gardening group who lives quite near and has managed to overcome these problems, so I give you six from his garden:
 Lovely, fresh foliage

 Succulents on display

 Aeoniums making a statement

 Holly with a haircut

Stunning display for mid-August with some of the layers in pots

 Interesting bark on this Acer

Do visit others who have submitted their Six on Saturday courtesy of our host at

  1. That's a really neat way of growing succulents - it looks so much better than my random selection of pots (in various stages of disrepair, although the succulents themselves seem happy enough)

  2. Love the succulent wheel, what a great idea. The Acer trunk is beautiful

  3. Hats off for giving his holly a cloud-esque trim. He must've had leather sleeves on his shirt.
